Selection Committee for Para Shooting

The meeting of the Selection Committee for finalizing the participation of para shooters in upcoming events was held on 23rd August 2025 at 03:00 PM at the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) Office, Jaisalmer House, New Delhi.

 

Agenda

Preparatory Coaching Camp at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Ranges (16th – 24th October 2025).

Participation at Al Ain 2025 WSPS World Cup (25th October – 5th November 2025, UAE).

Selection of the team for the Lithuania 2025 WSPS Grand Prix (Level 1 competition – self-financing basis).

Selection Basis

The Selection Committee, in line with the PCI Para Shooting Selection Policy 2024–2025, reviewed the performance of athletes based on Minimum Qualification Scores (MQS) at Level-2 from the following competitions:

Changwon WSPS World Cup 2025

National Para Shooting Selection Trial 3

 

Key Decisions

Approval of para shooters shortlisted for the Preparatory Coaching Camp at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Ranges.

Finalization of the Indian contingent for the Al Ain 2025 WSPS World Cup, UAE.

Selection of shooters for the Lithuania 2025 WSPS Grand Prix on a self-financing basis.

 

The meeting concluded with the confirmation of the selected athletes and support staff. The official list will be released by the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI).
